The Haras du Hoguenet stands partly on the former grounds of the prestigious Prat Farm built in the 19th century and on a dairy and cheese farm with exceptional soil quality.
The Stud was created in 1973 by Mr. Jérôme Blum and from 1990 Mr. Yvon Baudouin managed the stud before acquiring it in 2006 with his wife Anne-Marie and his eldest son Anthony, both implicated in the organisation.
After the death of Mr. Yvon Baudoin in 2016, Anthony took over the management of the Stud, supported by his wife Aline.
Breeding and Foaling :
We board the broodmares by ensuring their follow-up and their development as well as their products according to the needs of each one.
Stallions :
Haras du Hoguenet has been welcoming stallions since 1973, managed by a senior team combining know-how and modern techniques.
Consignment :
From foals to horses coming out of training, we prepare each one with the greatest attention, "à la carte” and always with a lot of respect.
Recovering :
Need to recover after a surgical intervention or for a simple vacation, our team at Manoir Pottier takes care of your horses.
We are always available to welcome you at the stud farm to present you our facilities and our stallions.
